Key ideas

The Nuteq AI key terms in plain words: agent, channel, workspace, knowledge, and conversation.

A few words carry most of the meaning in Nuteq AI. Each one is a single idea. You do not need to configure any of them yet.

What do these words mean?

  • Agent: the AI receptionist that answers your calls and messages. It uses the prompt and knowledge you give it.
  • Channel: a way a customer reaches your agent. Examples are a phone number, the website chat widget, SMS, and WhatsApp.
  • Workspace: your Nuteq AI account for the business. It holds billing, team members, and account settings.
  • Knowledge: the documents, FAQs, and web pages you give the agent. The agent uses them to answer specific questions and not guess.
  • Conversation: one call, text thread, or WhatsApp thread that the agent handled. Nuteq AI saves it with its transcript, recording, and outcome.

Where you see these words again

  • Agents: create an agent and edit its prompt, voice, and tools.
  • Connections: turn channels on and off for an agent.
  • Conversations: read each finished call or message thread.
  • Customers: the people who called or messaged become contacts you can follow up with.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between an agent and a channel?
The agent is the receptionist that talks and texts. A channel is how a customer reaches it, such as a phone number or your website widget. One agent can use several channels.
Is a workspace the same thing as an agent?
No. Your workspace is your Nuteq AI account for the business. It holds billing, team members, and settings. You can create one or more agents in it.
