# Publish the website widget

Publish the website widget by picking an agent, copying its snippet, and pasting it into your site so visitors can talk or type with Nuteq.

In Nuteq, publishing the website widget puts a button on your site that visitors can click to talk or type with your agent, without logging in or leaving the page. Each agent you publish gets its own snippet, so publishing more than one agent means pasting more than one piece of code.

## Choose an agent

From Connections, open the Website tab. If your workspace has one agent, it's already selected. If you have more than one, pick the agent you want to answer visitors on this site, then turn the widget on. Turning it on generates a public key and an embed snippet for that agent, which you'll paste into your site next.

## Copy the embed code

Nuteq gives you one line of code built from your workspace's own address, so it always points at the right place. Copy it and paste it into your site's HTML, just before the closing body tag. If you're not sure where that is in your site builder, look for a section named custom code, embed code, or tracking scripts. WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, and Shopify all have one.

## Voice and text

Once the code is live, a button appears on your site. Clicking it opens a panel where the visitor can start a voice call or switch to typing instead, and the agent answers with the same prompt and knowledge it uses on your other channels. Sessions have a time limit by default, so a call can't run forever. From the same Website tab, you can also restrict the snippet to specific website addresses, so it only runs on sites you've approved.

## Pause or remove the widget

To hide the widget without losing your setup, turn it off from the same switch. To take it off your site entirely, use "Remove from website." Either way, the code already pasted into your site keeps working exactly as before if you turn the widget back on or add the agent again later, since the same key is reused rather than replaced.
